Remember, an instrument is a tool to help you express yourself. Sometimes people forget this when shopping for an instrument, and they put emphasis on looks rather than on purchasing something functional.
To best serve you, I have set up my business to help them make the best purchase for their needs and to avoid costly mistakes. When shopping for a guitar, it's important to make sure you purchase an instrument that fits you and that you'll be happy with in the long term.
Eliminate Road Blocks
A block is something that stands in the way of what you desire to accomplish or become. To get the most out of your music study it's very important to have proper equipment. Unfortunately, I've had many students invest a lot of money in instruments and equipment before they started their lessons and then found out after a short period of time and experimentation they were dissatisfied with their purchase. Some of the guitars they purchased might look good but were difficult to play while sitting down or standing up, had high action (hard to fret notes and chords) and poor intonation (deviation of pitch). This all translates to having an instrument that is not conducive for developing musicianship. Likewise, a lot of the equipment they purchased was gadgetry. It was gear that they didn't need that ended up collecting dust in the closet.
